Doreen asks: Both front windows went out on my Chevy S-10 Blazer, what’s the problem? What needs to be replaced?  Is it difficult and expensive? HELP

Doreen, check the fuses for the windows if they went out simultaneously.

It could also be the driver’s side window switch panel with all the buttons right there by your left hand. This will most likely need to be replaced. Depending on the year of vehicle will depend on the price of the part.

Colin asks:  My drivers side window has come off the bottom track & the glass stays down when the up/down electric window button is pushed. How does the inside panel come off?

The panel can be carefully taken off by finding the seam between the metal chassis of the door and the fabric and prying a flat tool in between and popping the plastic fasteners away from the door metal.

Subject: Power windows in 2002 Ford Explorer

Noel writes; Hi, All windows failed at once. manual does not list a fuse and I can’t get the right info on line, from my dealer or from Ford in Dearborn. What could it be..can someone tell me the fuse #.

Noel, since it is hard to identify which fuse it is then just check each fuse for one that is blown. Your fuse box cover should have a sticker labeling the circuit to each fuse. I

f you don’t find the one or none are blown then look for another fuse block either under your dash or under the engine compartment.
