Subject: 1994 Buick 3800 v6 Message Computer/ Cutting off
Paullee says; computer will not link to obd2: how to check self test system. Runs excellent until it goes into closed loop then engine will shut randomly. It will immediately restart no waiting. Sometimes very frequent sometimes you have to run it for a while.
Paullee, don’t you hate those intermittent problems? They can be a mess to figure out.
Apparently there is a component in the closed loop that is faulty, or maybe even a relay involved, that is getting reset when you restart. So I take it you have no trouble codes. Could be a fuel pump on its way out if you have no codes.
