Kellie tells me: can you tell my why a car collision place would remove the door handle on a new car. The car was hit on the front guard and wheel there is no body damage to the door it is not aligned that is about it. It seems odd
Kellie, I can think of a couple of things like, to fix the ease of operation of the handle, to paint or spray a clear coat on the door, to get another key make if lost, to try and open door if stuck while trying to adjust properly.
Kellie, you never know because different people fix things their own way. If it comes out good then all is well, if not then you can get on them about why this and to get it right. Good luck..
