Problem: Hubby’s piece of crap car
Barb says: K, so hubby left me with his piece of crap car this morning because his isn’t working again. We just had the tranny fixed a year ago and I’m thinking this is a tranny issue again, but I’m not positive. You get in the car, start it and go to shift gears. Gear shift moves, but doesn’t shift into gear at all. It is a 99 Dodge Intrepid (shifter is the “on the floor” type). What do I do???
Barb it sounds to me like the transmission linkage is loose or has fallen off. What you do is have the hubby check it out or take it to the shop.
