Subject:  Power Windows

Doreen asks: Both front windows went out on my Chevy S-10 Blazer, what’s the problem? What needs to be replaced?  Is it difficult and expensive? HELP

Doreen, check the fuses for the windows if they went out simultaneously.

It could also be the driver’s side window switch panel with all the buttons right there by your left hand. This will most likely need to be replaced. Depending on the year of vehicle will depend on the price of the part.

It should not be too difficult to replace but it would be best to have a dealer do it so your door panel doesn’t look like a dog ate it when the job is complete. They have the correct tools and know where the door clips are.

Good Luck Doreen…
