Car Starts but Won’t Move

Subject:  car won’t go

Theo asks:  My 1995 Ford Taurus will start, but won’t move forward or backward?

I am sure you have checked the emergency brake. Next I would check the linkage to the transmission and the fluid level. If that is ok then your transmission may be shot and need a rebuild.
